Loreto Star is the boat that gives us our name: a classic Baja panga, the same fast, stable hull local captains have run in the Sea of Cortez for generations, fitted out for a comfortable day rather than a bare-bones ride. A full bimini top shades the seating area so nobody cooks in the sun on the way to the islands, the open bow is there for anyone who wants it, and she sits high and dry on any island beach so you step straight off onto the sand.
One boat, your group only. We don't fill seats with strangers. When you book Loreto Star you book the whole boat and your captain's full attention, so the day runs at your pace — more time in the water, more time on the beach, or another hour trolling if the fish are biting.
Loreto Star runs all three of our trips: island tours to Isla Coronado, Isla Danzante and Isla del Carmen inside the Loreto Bay National Marine Park; blue whale watching from January to March; and sport fishing for dorado, yellowtail, roosterfish and more. Most guests combine them — troll a couple of lines on the way to Coronado, snorkel the sea lion colony, then eat lunch under our shade tent on the white beach.

$1,500 MXN per hour · 4-hour minimum · prices are for the whole boat, up to 6 guests.

Deposit of 30% reserves the date; the balance is paid on the day. The national park bracelet (per person), fishing licenses, food and alcohol are not included.
